Local centres of excellence - Where jobseekers receive advice and practical help to apply for and secure employment - Where jobseekers support one another Run from community venues on a sessional basis What are Work Clubs

What we do…

We help all jobseekers – no eligibility criteria -Other than you are looking for work and -You will work with us to find a job All of our services are free All of our services are person-centred Our services are delivered by volunteers What makes us different…

First Work Club established in Crossley, Chadderton, Oldham in May 2011 Latest Work Club also established in Chadderton at the Library last month 10 general Work Clubs and 2 Enterprise Clubs now operational on the ground 1 virtual on-line Work Club Where we are now…

Developing new clubs -Royton, Alt & Holts Meeting specialist need – for example, ex- offenders, executives and graduates Developing a pool of trained volunteers Building the ‘brand’ amongst residents and the business community Constituting the group to secure funding Where we are going next..

If you have volunteers or wish to work in partnership If you have a venue with IT that may be suitable If you can offer cash or in-kind support If you can help us link in with Oldham’s business community How you can help

After the event, please contact Richard Outram, Chair, Oldham Work Club Network By telephone on (after 6 pm weekdays) or By Any questions…
