Welcome to Innovative Trainer Partnership Meeting #6 in Valencia

The Meeting Agenda

Project Finances

The Project Budget

The table that Colin circulated……

Our Financial Resolution Plan: 1 st off, we need to get to a known state i.e. how much is likely to be spent/not spent by each partner? Secondly, our aim is to bring each partner as close to vouching their total contracted budget as possible. Individual partner underspends will be re-allocated to cover their own overspends in the first instance. Note: the virement rule is that funds can be moved between designated budget headings up to a maximum of 10% of the budget into which the funds are being moved. (i.e. at the overall programme level)

Thirdly, funds that cannot be re-allocated within overall partner budgets will be pooled. As far as possible these funds will be allocated to partners who can make a case for further virement into one of their budget headings without breaching the overall 10% rule. This would have to be a realistic and defensible case: by way of example an increase in staff time of a further 10% for an individual partner would have to be justified in the context of the work packages for which that partner was responsible Our Financial Resolution Plan continued:

We need to complete this process ASAP

The Final Report…..

The final report and separate financial tables for each partner are now on the SVN WP1_Management_Administrative_Financial\Final Report

Final Report – Financial Table

The good news is….. The format is the same as that used for the Interim Report So you’ve already completed half of it

The absolute deadline for completion of your financial tables is end of w/c November 3 rd 2014 Colin will be chasing you!

Final Report – Narrative The Main Points

Work Package leaders are responsible for this part!

Final Report – Dissemination We have been stressing the need to record all of your dissemination activities since the outset of this project Here’s why….

Each dissemination activity will need an individual entry This is a relatively quick process Joe to complete It is vital that we don’t fall down in this area, the more entries we can muster, the better

The absolute deadline for narrative pieces is end of w/c November 10 th 2014 The above deadline will allow Colin the time he needs to draw together and submit the report

These deadlines should be considered as ‘in stone’, you need to work to them if Colin is going to be able to submit the final report (on which our final 20% payment is predicated) on time

Next Steps: Financial Table….. All Partners: download your version of the financial table from the SVN, when complete please both it to Colin and upload it to SVN

Next Steps: Final Report Document….. All Partners: download the Final Report PDF and complete your organisation’s Dissemination details Work Package Leaders: complete the ‘Results’ sections When complete please both the report to Colin and upload it to SVN

Remember, Innovative Trainer has the potential to be an exemplar of collaborative working – one final team effort will make the reporting process relatively painless….

If you have questions on any aspect of the Final Report please contact Colin Thank You!
