About Mandy Gothorp Mandy Gothorp is a photographer who does this as a passion and a hobby on the side she visits zoos and on holidays takes pictures of animals and scenery. She has loved animals as she is a big fan of monkeys and has had interaction with a lot of animals since young, along with taking pictures of them she enjoys seeing them and before she started photographing animals more professional she visit zoos a lot and took pictures for the zoos to use and now takes pictures of them more often in their natural habitat as well as in their encaged habitat. Like I mentioned she also does scenery but a lot less compared to animals but the ones she takes are more like sunsets and sunrises or some form of weather affecting the image to make it worth capturing.

What I like about their work I like that they take pictures of lots of animals in the natural environment and how a lot of images they take are through wired fences when it’s taking a image of caged animals, and caged shoots are hard to take because the wiring from the cage makes the images go blurry and out of focus. I like her scenery as well the scenes that she takes the images at are something that you would stop and be amazed at if you saw it with your own eyes you would think to yourself that’s a beautiful scene. And it would make me want to draw it if I was doing a drawing for a game or making a print version of the scene.

What I like about their work part 2 The other thing I like about Mandy’s work is that she doesn’t do this a professional job she does it as a hobby for when she goes on holiday or visits a zoo and manages to take outstanding images that are clear, a few images she has taking are birds that are flying when they are taken which isn’t a easy shoot to capture or keep the quality looking so great. So you can see the bird has taken flight or is landing.
