TITLE | 1 MPRC District Roadshow May 2014 Overview & Objectives Nick Drake MPRC Chairman

TITLE | 2 RIBI Marketing Budget Following the vote not to approve the marketing levy at the RIBI conference there is NO marketing budget for RIBI from July The onus will be on clubs and districts to do their own advertising to raise the Rotary image and to attract new members. To put this into context – the marketing campaign to date had led to a four fold increase in the number of people showing interest in joining Rotary, this may not have initially led to a four fold interest in new members, but that is a different issue about clubs being ready to handle new members coming in.

TITLE | 3 District MPRC Objective for Marketing & PR MPRC is responsible for raising public awareness of Rotary and promoting it to people who might be interested in joining Rotary. Our first objective as a District team is to maintain the public facing 1250 News online to reflect and market Rotary in this District. Our other objective is to provide advice and assistance on Marketing and PR through providing information on advertising materials, press relations and marketing techniques to the clubs in the District.

TITLE | 4 District MPRC objective for Communications The first objective of the District MPRC team is to maintain communications with clubs, produce the directory and maintain the website. Our other objective is to provide advice and assistance to clubs in the whole area of social media, websites and .
