Program “Siberian Region in Russia and the World”

 Variable part of the general course cycle, 2d semester  108 academic hours, 4 credits  Final grade – pass/fail

 Form an understanding of global security, with a focus on traditional and new sources of security threats и response mechanisms

 Impact of global challenges and threats on countries and regions, Russia and Siberia in particular;  Placing global trends into the local context

 Study theoretical approaches to global security;  Analyze the main trends and processes;  Study international mechanisms of response to traditional and new security threats;  Develop the skills of analysis and evaluation of current events etc.
