CSCM Test campaign Sequence (1 sector with 1 PC): - Powering tests: 7 days/2 shifts (2 weeks for the 1 st sector) - ElQA: 2 persons – 1 day (M) - RB commissioning: 4 persons – 1 day (A) (2-QPS, 1-PC, 1-Cryo) - RB tests: 4 persons – 1 day (A) - Connect the RB PC to RQD circuit: 3 persons – 1 day (M) (1-QPS, 2-PC) - RQD commissioning: 4 persons – 1 day (A) - RQD tests: 4 persons – 1 day (A) - Connect the RB PC to RQF circuit: 3 persons – 1 day (M) (1-QPS, 2-PC) - RQF commissioning: 4 persons – 1 day (A) - RQF tests: 4 persons – 1 day (A) - Data analysis: 2 persons – 5 days (M) 11 #7 persons during 7 days and 2 shifts (1 sector) M = morning A= afternoon N= night

CSCM Test campaign Sequence (1 sector): - Recovery (w/o cryo): 1 week – 1 shift - Reinstall old BS board and enable oQPS, Qsym and EE system - IST of QPS - Reconfigure the RB power converter -IST of RB power converter - ElQA - Full recommissioning of the main circuits 12 #6 persons during 1 week (1 sectors) w/o powering tests

CSCM Test campaign Schedule: # 10 weeks (2 sets of test boards) 13 Preparation = 3 persons – 5 days – 1 shift Tests = 7 persons – 7 days – 2 shifts Recovery = 3 persons – 5 days – 1 shift (w/o cryo and powering tests) # 1 st RB # 1 st RQ

CSCM Status and Plan Status: - Today the limits of the CSCM tests are defined - Circuits (magnet and DFB) at 20 K - Current leads at nominal operating conditions - Current cycle (4 or 6 kA) - Protection system (mBS, Qcl and Qsym) - Powering system (RB converter with both bridges in series) - Test campaign 15

CSCM Status and Plan Plans: - Next steps (end of May – beginning of June): “short document” -CSCM tests must be defined in details (cryo, DFB and CL conditions, current cycles, etc…): Arjan -Same for the protection system: Jens -Same for data measurements and analysis: Mike -Same for the other aspects (powering system, test planning, safety, risk analysis, etc…): Hugues -Same for the limits of the machine: MP3 - Next weeks -Meeting with Serge to clarify the cryo aspect -Meeting with Marta to define validation tests -Diode tests to confirm the diode threshold -Bus bar tests to validate the 20 K tests -Meeting with ElQA team to start the discussion concerning the ElQA aspect. 16
