Goal for class  Figure out what we need to learn as a class to get better at film  Get to know each other a little better, by sharing our favorite movie, director, actor/actress with everyone  Learn more shot styles to make our films more interesting

What is Film 2?  Film 2 is a more advanced film class than film 1  Everyone is expected to already know how to:  Edit on final cut  Write storyboards  Act  Film using a variety of shot styles  Critique a film using film terms and give meaningful feedback to help others become more successful at creating films

Reminders of rules  No food, candy, or drinks in class  Do not be distracted by cellphones/iPads/etc., they are a tool not a toy  Share and respect the equipment, there is no class fee let’s keep it that way  Only 3 hall passes per term, next class you will get hall pass tickets  Well talk more about filming rules and editing on the days we start that again  Be nice, have fun, and work together!
