1 Getting Started Read the directions!

2 Reviewers are informed readers but not necessarily experts in your specific area (~20 reviewers). Funding agency personnel want to know health impact (e.g., NIH, OREF, NSF, NIST, AF, CDC, DOD, etc.). Keep in mind that you need to be very clear and need to emphasize health and science significance throughout. For NSF, include educational and underrepresented minorities. Know your audience
