Charts and diagrams We sometimes use charts and diagrams to: Read a bus timetable Complete a table in a catalogue to buy goods Draw up a floor plan

Charts and diagrams Understanding charts and diagrams will help you to use them.

Charts and diagrams Some of us may have a road map of the Louisiana. We sometimes use them to find our way from one place to another. You will often find a mileage chart at the front of the map or in a legend located somewhere on the map.

Charts and diagrams Slidell Madisonville Baton Rouge Monroe Shreveport Slidell / Madisonville30.6 / Baton Rouge / Monroe / 98.6 Shreveport / What is the journey from Baton Rouge to Monroe? Louisiana Distance Chart- all distances are in miles

Charts and diagrams Find the names of the two cities along the edge of the table. Slidell Madisonville Baton Rouge Monroe Shreveport Slidell / Madisonville30.6 / Baton Rouge / Monroe / 98.6 Shreveport /

Charts and diagrams Make a note of which city is on top of the chart. You track DOWN the column from this one. Slidell Madisonville Baton Rouge Monroe Shreveport Slidell / Madisonville30.6 / Baton Rouge / Monroe / 98.6 Shreveport /

Charts and diagrams At the same time, note where the other city is. From this, you track to the right along the row. It helps to use your fingers! Slidell Madisonville Baton Rouge Monroe Shreveport Slidell / Madisonville30.6 / Baton Rouge / Monroe / 98.6 Shreveport /

Charts and diagrams You will find the correct answer where your fingers meet. Slidell Madisonville Baton Rouge Monroe Shreveport Slidell / Madisonville30.6 / Baton Rouge / Monroe / 98.6 Shreveport /
