Mission Lesson Compelled by Glory Psalm 86:8-13

Memory Verse All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, O Lord; they will bring glory to your name. Psalm 86:9

Learning Goals Explore: Students will explore why Christ followers are compelled to glorify God among the nations. Transform: Students will explore how they can respond to God's glory by sharing His love with others.

Discussion Describe what it’s like to live in a culture where not everyone believes in God? What everyday opportunities are available to us to talk about God and how He has worked in our lives? If we truly believe that God is the only true God, how is it unloving not to tell others about Him? Why does it seem to be difficult to be overwhelmed by the glory of God in our lives? How can we better intentionally make sharing God’s love a priority in our lives?

Key Study 1. All creation is confronted by the glory of the one true God, who is worthy of all worship (Psalm 86:8-10).

Key Study 2. A heart that is united to God results in a life changed for glory (Psalm 86:11).

Key Study 3. Because of God’s unending grace in their lives, His people are committed to His glory (Psalm 86:12-13).
