The Flight Of Abraham Lincoln!

Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809 and was alive until April 15, His parents were Nancy Hanks and Thomas Lincoln. He was also our 16th president. When Abraham was president he did all kinds of things like he maintained the Union, emancipated slaves, brought West Virginia into the Union, etc.

His nickname was The Great Emancipator because of the emancipation of the slaves. Lincoln was also known as Honest Abe because when he was younger and messed someone’s change up he would walk to them to give them the right amount of change. He was always honest about it. Lincoln was born in a log cabin in Kentucky in a little town called Hodgenville.

Abraham had lost his mother at the age of 9. He had to grow up without a mother. Also growing up without parents isn’t very easy.

The Trip Of Our President Andrew Johnson.

Andrew Johnson was born in a place called Elizabethton in Tennessee. He was born on December 29, He lived to be almost 70. He was four years away from turning 70 years old, he had passed away on July 31, 1875 at the age of 66.

Andrew was also born in a log cabin, but he was born in Raleigh in North Carolina. Also when Johnson was 3 he had lost his father. When Andrew Johnson was president he accomplished something too like Abraham. He accomplished signing the Civil Rights Bill, created new federal civil rights, and also purchase of Alaska from the Russian Empire in 1867, etc.

Johnson was our 17 th president of the U.S. upon the passing away of Abraham Lincoln. Which all of this had happened in April of the year Other things Johnson had done as president is had announced to “restore” the south in 1865.
