Use of the data What Has Developed This Year With The Assessment Assessment Designed to be a Predictor of Success on the WASL Our hope was to find a diagnostic tool to be the next step Teachers were interested in doing an item analysis for their students At GMS we took it one step farther we did the analysis then split our students into like groups by what problems they missed. During PACE (Practice, Activity, Choice, Enrichment) class we the Skill Supplement to our math curriculum all students are getting extra math support at different levels based on this assessment Groups Whole numbers Fraction concepts Fraction application Geometry Measurement Percent Decimals

Next Steps Research a diagnostic assessment that will help w/ developing a program to help students to improve in specific concepts of mathematics –Is it out there? –Try to develop one? What would this assessment model look like
