Clean Up After Yourselves Trash build up at the Utah Utes footballs games caused by fans leaving their trash instead of throwing it away. Stadium employees having to stay 2-3 more hours of work cleaning up after the fans.

Two Proposals Do think extra garbage cans in the stadium will make fans throw away their trash more? What about college students who volunteer as a community service to hand out fliers to get into the game free, but have to stay after to help clean up the stadium after the game?

Extra Garbage Cans? Maybe the stadium staff can put garbage cans at the end of every row to prevent fans from throwing their trash on the ground rather than throwing it away. If the garbage can is close by they will actually throw it away? What I have noticed that even around my house some times that if you have more garbage cans then you don’t find as much garbage laying around.

Fliers? Maybe as a community service college kids could hand out fliers before the game at the gate about the game and even have a page in the flier that talks about throwing your trash away. Also these kids will be able to get into the game for free and watch it as long as they promise to stay after and help clean up the stadium.
