Text Analysis (vs. 1) Reverently and meekly now, Let thy head most humbly bow. Think of me, thou ransomed one; Think what I for thee have done. With my blood that dripped like rain, Sweat in agony of pain, With my body on the tree I have ransomed even thee.  As we take the sacrament, we need to reverently and humbly think of the Savior and His sacrifice for us as He paid for our souls with his body and blood. On the cross of Calvary I have suffered death for thee.  The water or wine symbolizes His blood; the bread symbolizes His body. We must constantly remember the suffering He endured that we as His imperfect children might be won back. In the solemn faith of prayer Cast upon me all thy care, And my Spirit’s grace shall be Like a fountain unto thee.  We need to have pure hearts and be full of charity to our brethren - forgiving them as we would have Christ forgive us. Text Analysis (vs. 4) At the throne I intercede; For thee ever do I plead. I have loved thee as thy friend, With a love that cannot end. Be obedient, I implore, Prayerful, watchful evermore. And be constant unto me, That thy Savior I may be.  At the day of judgment, Christ will intercede for us if we are obedient, prayerful, watchful, and constant. We make the choice, through our actions, if we want Him and will accept Him as our Savior or not. At the throne I intercede; For thee ever do I plead.
