WHAT DOES IT MEAN? In a business environment, appearance does matter. Dressing for Success is all about first impressions. You want to dress for the role you want. How can you make the best physical impression possible to someone you have never met?

BUSINESS CASUAL Business casual is a little less formal than normal business wear, but is still used to give off the professional impression Business casual is mostly slacks, khakis, a dress shirt, or a polo shirt. It is usually used for daily days in the office, or information sessions.

BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL Business professional is used for if you have an interview or if you are going to be giving a presentation. Business professional consists of suit jackets, neutral colors, conservative footwear, and pant suits.

GENERAL GUIDELINES Keep it simple Always make sure colors match Avoid baggy clothing Iron out the wrinkles Avoid flashy jewelry Make-up should be modest Appropriate Shoes
