Baseline Writing Coombs Room 201

Baseline Writing – 90 MIN Complete Process Brainstorm Drafting Revision Final Draft

Many people feel that American society is too competitive. Does competition lead to better products and results, or does it lead to a focus on winning at all costs? Is fierce competition a good idea or bad idea? Take a position on the issue. Support your response with reasons and examples. Use your planning time to think about what you will write; make notes or list your ideas. When you have finished planning and organizing, write your first draft. Be sure to write appropriately for your intended audience, including vocabulary and voice. Complete the revision checklist once you’ve finished your letter. Make appropriate changes if necessary.
