My Project on Switzerland By Conor Morley

 The capital of Switzerland is Bern, while the largest city is Zürich  The official currency of Switzerland is the Swiss franc

Population The Swiss population is 8,039, % of people are women and 49.36% of people are men.

Wealthy or Poor? Switzerland is a rich country. Not only is the per capita income relatively high compared to other country, inflation and unemployment are also relatively low. The purchasing power of the Swiss franc is so high that the Swiss middle class has no difficulty in vacationing anywhere in the world every year, and that can be easily confirmed by noting that all over the world you can find tourists from Switzerland. Switzerland is also culturally rich and diverse as 4 national languages are spoken. As for immigrants and foreigners, that only rich people come is not true: in fact, Geneva has about 40 % foreigners and other Swiss cities are equally high. Switzerland has a long tradition of accepting immigrants and refugees for humanitarian and economic reasons. Many Swiss citizens are second generation immigrants from other European countries.

Climate Switzerland has a temperate climate in the populated areas, but mountain peaks in the alps are buried under eternal ice and snow. On the southern side of the alps the climate is a little bit warmer than in the north, but the really important thing to consider is that the alps form a barrier that separates two completely different aspect of a weather situation.
