Agents of Socialization Debate 2012

Format  Five groups. Each group has a designated “Place where we learn” assigned to them.  You will present ideas and facts to support this statement: Learning in (insert the “place of learning”) is better than anywhere else.  You will have 15 minutes to prepare and 5 minutes to present your findings.  The winners will get first choice of treats for Fun Friday!!!

Rules!  Each group will get a chance to speak! While patiently waiting, your group will quietly discuss/write down any counter point they wish to make. Talking during someone else's time will be a penalty towards your group!  Judges will score you on your ability to:  State your points clearly  Stay on topic  Stay within the time given  Support points with evidence or solid logic  Refrain from attacking any specific group  Fill in your worksheets correctly  Answer questions clearly in both the sheet and presentation  EVERYONE from your group must speak once!
