Go to Animoto and create an account. Click “Create Video” to get started!Animoto *Note: Ask your librarian for a promo code to make full-length videos. Otherwise, videos will only be up to 30 seconds long.

Browse and find a video style that would best fit your book. Click “Create Video” again once the video style has been chosen.

Next, upload videos and pictures that are going in your book trailer. Notice that there are several options for uploading and selecting. Make sure to cite the work if the material is not originally yours.

Time to choose music that will best fit your book trailer. The music will usually reflect the tone or the mood of the book. Animoto has its own music collection that you can use without worrying about copyright infringement.

Finalize your video. Choose a speed and add a title, description, and your name. You may also want to include your works cited in the end-of- video credits.

Animoto will process your video. When it is finished, you can view the video and edit it as needed.
