2 Council update FOCUS - A SMOOTH TRANSITION TO ‘PROTECT’ BUSINESS AS USUAL a) Staff will not move to Jacobs Well in October b) Transformation within Public Health must be planned and phased to take place following the transition of the service on 31st March 2013 (subject to the need to change to reflect the new Health landscape) c) More robust governance arrangements are being developed within the Council including Kath Tunstall being appointed the Council’s Executive Sponsor to provide strategic direction and support d) Corporate Management Team support the need to allocate resources to ensure a smooth transfer

3 Council Risks Computer systems access - N3 accreditation Commissioning of contracts – building in the flexibility The level of Public Health ring fenced grant funding allocated for 2013/14 Ensuring transfer of staff is legally compliant
