Writing a Campaign Plan is just as easy as planning a Birthday Party

GOAL: Get Ed to a Motorhead Show Birthday: Oct 24, 2010

Goals: Short: Steps towards your "WIN" Mid: The WIN! Ed goes to a Motorhead show. Long: What do you do AFTER you WIN? Org. Cons. Put In: Resources needed to pull this off * Note: You can only afford 2 tickets! Get Out: How will this benefit the group? Problems: Constituents & Allies: Who cares about this and can help us WIN? Opponents: Who stands to lose or will be upset if we WIN? Targets: Primary: Who has the power to give us what we want? Secondary: A person who has power over the primary target. Tactics: Steps in carrying out the overall plan. These are things people in Column 3 can do to help us win, or to apply pressure on the people in Column 4. Timeline: List dates / opportunities for action between now and the WIN. Birthday: Oct 24, 2010
