The lessons learnt so far, and getting connected across the networks Karen Keohane

Early lessons about delivery Q2 52% of sessions are Dance/Fitness 4349 participants with 39% coming from BME groups Age split is 61% 16-19yrs/39% 20-25yrs Multi sport approaches important used in approx 20% of projects Flexibility of sessions – being able to arrive after ‘the start’ and to be able to fit in easily – so women can come when convenient Projects are planning exit routes and demand exists. Convertion rate currently 7% Project co-ordinators with time to get involved in sessions so they can shape and develop the sessions as they develop- patience-surviving the early weeks !

 What are the best ways of delivering a flexible, fun, multisport session  Targeted work 16-24yrs or open age sessions ( the influence of family relationships)  How to track transitions to exit routes  Understanding different ‘types of Leanne’ and meeting her needs.  Developing effective modern communication systems  How to develop an effective ‘festival/competition’ programme for non sporty Leanne to maintain interest  Nudging behaviour change by creating a ‘social norm’ Things we need to know more about
