Tests done in EIC are mostly a continuation of previous integration tests done in institute labs, but performed in an environment as close to USC55 as possible: rehearsal for USC55 activities Method: Download and synchronously propagate test patterns within and between trigger systems Use simulated data & data from test beams Goals: Test interfaces, software, synchronization, DCS… Prepare electronics for use in Cosmic Challenge Gain back some time lost in the delay of USC55 by testing everything possible before installation Completion of Electrical Clearance tests
