r11 Event Management Scalability Tests -

© 2005 Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA). All trademarks, trade names, services marks and logos referenced herein belong to their respective companies. Objectives -To run scalability tests to ascertain scalability limits such as the number of events that can be processed with different MRA, impact of AMS, AEC, etc

Test 1 -MRA Processing on Local Node

© 2005 Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA). All trademarks, trade names, services marks and logos referenced herein belong to their respective companies. Test 1 - Goal -Analyze impact of MRA with different levels of Message Storm. -Any MRA with the exception of FORWARD or ALERT

© 2005 Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA). All trademarks, trade names, services marks and logos referenced herein belong to their respective companies. Test 1a – Half Million -Generate message storm with half a million events and review latency period on the last event -MRA = SendOper -This is to simulate event storm that may be generated by back bone router going down

© 2005 Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA). All trademarks, trade names, services marks and logos referenced herein belong to their respective companies. Test 1a - 500,000 Events Storm with SendOper MRA Latency: 2 mins 26 seconds

© 2005 Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA). All trademarks, trade names, services marks and logos referenced herein belong to their respective companies. Test 1a -Confirm half millions events processed by Event Management
