A Conference on U.S. Leadership in ISO and IEC Technical Committees November 9-10, 2005 Slide 4 ISO/TC 127 for Earth Moving Machines ISO/TC 127 for Earth Moving Machines (EMM) was formed in 1968 to respond to the need for global standards for Earth Moving Machines. The objective was to develop a complete set of ISO standards that could be used as the basis for any national standards and regulations. Approximately 100 ISO/TC 127 standards have been published to address all areas of standardization.
