A. He will deceive through Persuasion

1.Persuasion through Answers

(Dan 8:23) And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.

2. Persuasion through Flattery

by flatteries (Dan 11:21) …but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. shall he corrupt by flatteries (Dan 11:32) … shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

destroy wonderfully (Dan 8:24) And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully... through his policy (Dan 8:25) And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; …

3.Persuasion through Peace

(Dan 9:27) And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

(Rev 6:2) And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. by peace shall destroy many: (Dan 8:25) … and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

B. He will deceive through Power

1.Power of healing

(2Th 2:9) Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

(Rev 13:12-15) And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak…

(Rev 16:13-14) And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

C. He will deceive with by Prevailing

1.Prevail Religiously

(Rev 13:8) And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world

2.Prevail Politically

(Rev 13:16-17) And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations

3.Prevail Commercially

(Rev 13:17) And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

D. He will deceive through a Plot

(Rev 13:15) And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
