On Prem Use for System Center Config Mgr & SCEP The subscription provides: Non perpetual use of ConfigMgr & SCEP to manage up to 5 devices used by the user to which an Intune license is assigned. If Intune subscription is not renewed the software must be removed from the customers devices. Non perpetual use of ConfigMgr Server Software (Console). If Intune subscription is not renewed software must be removed from the customers devices. Windows Intune subscriptions provide on premises use rights for System Center Configuration Manager (ConfigMgr) and Endpoint Protection (SCEP).

Q&A Q? What are the Partners requirements to sell Windows Intune Open? All resellers will be able to sell Windows Intune subscriptions as long as they establish a reseller relationship with one of our authorized distributors. Prior to sell Open Programs, please learn about Microsoft Volume Licensing from Q? Open License or Open Value, which program should I order this? If end customers have active Open Value or Open Value Subscription Agreement, order from them. Otherwise, the default should be to order from Open License Program. Q? Who is expected to actually obtain Keys from VLSC and redeem Windows Intune from the redemption site? While the entire process is end customer ready, Microsoft® encourages Partners to manage the process on behalf of end customers as part of their value-add- service. This way, Partners can ensure that they are the Partner of Record.

Q? How do I decrease users of Windows Intune Subscriptions? Reducing the number of seats is only possible during the renewal process Q? What are the options to renew Windows Intune? 3 Options: (1) Customer buys new product key from Open Programs & redeems online, (2) Advisor sends customer order via MOCP, customer pays directly, and (3) Customer purchases seats directly on MOCP. Q? Will Partners be notified of the upcoming expiration? Partner of Record will receive Windows Intune renewal reminder 60, 30, 7 and 1 day prior to expiration. Open/OV Agreement expiration notice is independent since it is not coterminous with Windows Intune Subscriptions.
