Page 2 OUR PURPOSE To introduce best practices for sustainably improving crop yields and quality for fruits and vegetable farming via the establishment of an experimental farm in Lamdong province. The farm will demonstrate best practices and provide education and will measure the impact on local farmers in terms of yields and quality. Initial focus will be on potato, if the model is successful it can be replicated and scaled up for other crops and locations.

Page 3 Processing New Variety Introduction & Sprout Inhibitor Registration Progress -FL2215 is in a final stage for commercial approval from MARD -FL2027: mass trial production upcoming season for a registration -Crisp4All: being conducted trials for registration from one of PepsiCo Vendors to use in the North both for processed as well as table potatoes -Expanding wet season using FL2215 -Sprout inhibitor trial and registration -Introduce one new variety into farming system every two years New Development and Challenge -Registration: long process; hard to apply new, and advanced varieties or products in to Agriculture to tackle the challenge of supply chain, i.e lower the cost (can we leverage the test results from other countries where it applicable to our country?) -Seed technology: provide advanced variety as well as low cost seeds to farmers locally (Government supports)

Page 4 Training and Rewarding FARMER TRAINING AND REWARDING (Photos: crop) -Annually training farmers on potato cultivation practices -Reward best farmers with token, prize, and certificate of recognition
