May’s Accomplishments Mobilized Authority and Design Build Contractor staff to Authority offices at 707 Wilshire Three Open House meetings were held in May 2006 for the community to meet the Exposition Authority staff, designers and builders to learn more about the Exposition Light Rail project: The first community meeting for the mid corridor was held at Dorsey High on May 4 The second community meeting was held on May 17 at Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Culver City The third community meeting was held on May 23 at Trade Technical College in Downtown Los Angeles

May’s Accomplishments (Contd.) Design Builder secured Professional Liability Insurance, commenced design and field surveying, developed the Project Quality Program, and initiated coordination with City of Los Angeles Conducted initial Authority and Design Builder Executive Partnering session Met with City of Los Angeles staff regarding Project Cooperative Agreement

June’s Planned Activities Conduct the First Urban Design Committee meeting on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Culver City Hall Conduct a community meeting for Flower Street Design Improvements for stakeholders to see the various designs improvements which will take place along Flower Street to Exposition Boulevard Conduct the Authority’s Open House event Wednesday, June 28, 2006 from 4:30-6:30 p.m at the new office location (707 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90017, Suite 3400). The event is being co-sponsored by the Design Builder FCI/Flour/Parsons
