There once was a minister who lived three villages away from a young lady. One evening they had dinner together in a restaurant. They talked about people getting married, and the lady asked the minister whether he would marry her in church. The minister was very surprised and said that her question came very unexpected. The lady realized that he had not understood her correctly. What she meant was whether he would marry her and her husband. However, their conversation put an interesting idea into the minister ’ s head. He realized that he wanted to marry her. So a few days later he visited her at home and asked her to marry him. The lady felt honored and immediately accepted.
