Description Polar bear are large meat eating mammals. Bears are well adapted to the Arctic. 3

Habitat The polar bear lives in the Arctic because the Arctic is cool. And polar bears make a snow den in the winter so won’t kill their cubs because an Arctic fox can kill polar bear cubs.

Diet Polar bears eat birds, egg and berries. They don’t drink water. And they hunt for food. Mother bears hunt for fish to catch, fish for both mother and cubs to eat fish.

Survival Polar bears help their babies so the other animals won’t eat their babies because Arctic fox hunt for baby polar bear and eat their baby polar bears.

Other Facts In April or May a male and a female polar bear meet and are in courtship before mating. Young bears hunt with their mom because their mom shows them how to hunt so they can eat fish so they won’t get hungry.
