E. Coli Outbreak By: Alice Seok and Savannah Sizemore

What is E.Coli E.Coli is a disease with the symptoms of: bloody diarrhea, stomach cramps, and low fever.

How do you get E.Coli? Not washing your hands after touching animals and eating Drinking pool water, bath water, or sewer water Eating raw meat that’s been soaked in sewer water

How do you prevent getting E.Coli? Washing your hands Avoid raw meat Do NOT drink sewer, pool, or bath water Eat salty foods Don’t go near anyone

What are the dangers in letting E.Coli go untreated? kidney failure There's a chance of getting H.U.S disease Death

WHERE DO YOU THINK E.Coli came from? ¤Sewer water and all the bacteria that was in it. ¤The food center at the county fair

When we couldn’t help save her Only one person has had a death with E.Coli and H.U.S Her name is Susie Thompson We didn’t know what to do but we wrote Dr. Billman a letter which saved Anthony Green We can assure you nobody else will die

Another way we helped When we realized what was going on a few weeks ago about how they soaked the meat in sewer water we came right in to help We redesigned the WHOLE entire fair to make sure before anybody did anything they must wash their hands before attending anything at the burrow county fair
