STREPTOCOCCAL INFECTIONSCAMPYLOBACTER Can infect Pigs Dogs Cats Fish Snakes lizards Can infect Pigs Dogs Cats Fish Snakes Lizard Just about all pets or animals kept in enclosed places are at risk of getting it. In most cases farm animals are the main carriers and out of the group of farm animals chickens and caves are more prune to it

STREPTOCOCCAL INFECTIONS CAMPYLOBACTER Spread by direct contact with the animal from one to another Campylobacter is a type of bacteria that lives in the intestines and the transmission of this Bactria is usably through poop or animal feces it can live up to several days in feces and on food if its not cooked right

STREPTOCOCCAL INFECTIONS CAMPYLOBACTER  Runny nose, coughing, breeding problems, mastitis, and in swine infection can cause swollen joints and fever  Diarrhea is the most consistent and prominent manifestation of campylobacteriosis, and is often bloody infection also include fever, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain,

STREPTOCOCCAL INFECTIONSCAMPYLOBACTER  Streptococcus remains sensitive to penicillin and ampicillin and was once also sensitive to cefazolin, erythromycin, and clindamycin. Although penicillin is the treatment of choice, it is unclear whether penicillin therapy provides a better outcome than other antibiotics.  Erythromycin is the drug of choice to treat camylobacter infections in humans, dogs and cats but it can cause vomiting as a side-effect.  Despite a reported clinical improvement chloramphenicol may not eliminate Campylobacter infection and may induce a carrier state in treated animals.

STREPTOCOCCAL INFECTIONSCAMPYLOBACTER  Washing hands after touching any kind of animal as well as making sure that you also wash hands well after picking up or handling animal feces  Cooking food all the way through especially in chicken.
