Habitat of My Animal  Location : The eastern half of the United States, Canada, parts of Russia, China, Japan, and Europe.  Characteristics : The Temperate Forest only gets 30 to 60 inches of water each year. The average temperature of the Temperate Forest is about 50 degrees Fahrenheit.  How to survive: To survive in the Temperate Forest, animals have to know how to hibernate and they have to learn how to steal other animals food.

More Information on My Habitat Temperate Forest are colorful like fall and they have streams and rivers.

My Animal Adaptations  Animals like the Bank Vole, Black Bear, Grey Squirrel, Raccoon, White-tailed Deer, Wild Boar, Cardinal, and the Goshawk have to adapt to other animals being sly and steeling their food.

Evidence  My animal has the head of a Brown Bear, the body and legs of a Turkey Vulture and the tail of a Gemsbok. My animal is an appropriate animal because it’s head helps it catch fish, it’s body is strong, and the legs are strong enough to hold the body. The tail can also wipe bugs off of it’s body.
