College Prep Physics Lesson #37 LESSON GOALS: complete motorcycle Delaware to Oregon “Trail” paper-lab 1/4

Paper-Lab: Oregon Trail cont… This paper lab will allow you to master your use of the average speed equation. You will also be able to compare displacement vs. distance, and explore engine efficiency concepts (“mpg”). There are a number of things which affect the average speed (and arrival time!) of trips. This exploration will help you to better understand these ideas. 2/4

Video: Head Rush (10 facts) While watching this video (brought to you by the Myth Busters team), write out 10 interesting facts which you picked up from viewing it. (SAVE FOR MONDAY’s CLASS) 3/4

Looking Ahead (UPDATED) We will complete the HEAD RUSH activity. 4/4
