Coordinating and Advancing Field-Based Marine Science Education in Puget Sound: Boat Based Programs around the US Christian P. Sarason, Ocean Inquiry Project

First, some caveats…. We’re presenting here a summary of marine programs (e.g. on-the-water programs) that we know about around the USA. This list is likely not complete! The goal of this talk is to look at various programs around the country, and compare them to the types of programs we have here in Puget Sound. There are many possible successful models, and we hope that these programs serve as useful examples.
