Things we need House t-shirt and correct uniform Waterproofs and wellies need to be in school for wet weather Contact books- please ensure that these are handed in if there are any notes Book bag and reading book as necessary but every Friday. Water bottles- your child needs a water bottle- transparent, named and with a sports cap. Water only please.

Behaviour Management and Class Rules Behaviour of children is monitored using the traffic light system. Every child is on a green card everyday. Children who misbehave are put on a yellow card. Children can earn a green card Children who continue to misbehave will be put on a red card and a report will be given to parents explaining why their child was on a red card. Class rules will be devised by the children on the first PSHE lesson and it will displayed in the class.
Rewards Star of the Week Star of the Week will be awarded to a child who has shown good behaviour and good work/effort during lessons. Star of the week is celebrated every Friday with the rest of the school. Star of the Week will be a special helper during the week House Points Children will be awarded house points when they show outstanding behaviour and determination in their work House points will also be given to the children who stayed on a green card.

Class Routine Afternoon Sessions Guided Reading Children will be in groups during guided reading, this may take place in the mornings. Foundation Subjects Foundation Subjects will be taught in the afternoon. Mrs Tuhey – Geography Miss Lovell – Computing Mrs Alam - R.E Science will be taught by Miss Hughes and Mrs Coplestone and P.E by Mrs Harrison. Break minutes in the afternoon
P.E P.E lessons are timetabled on Tuesday and Wednesday Please ensure that your child has the appropriate kit (house T-shirt, shorts and plimsolls) clearly labelled and in school at all times.
Homework Journal and Spellings Children are asked to complete one task each week. It doesn’t have to be in order. Homework Journals should be handed in on Tuesdays Spellings are given out on Fridays Children are not given spelling tests
