The Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust gives grants to support the education and wellbeing of children whose parents work in the UK fashion and textile industry. Our criteria covers all industries including womenswear, menswear, footwear, interiors, soft furnishings, supermarkets which sell clothing soft accessories and textiles Supporting families since 1853

How we help Education grants Providing funding to meet a child’s educational needs, including specialist books or course equipment, school uniform and sports equipment or transport costs. Helping children like Toby, aged 11yrs, whose mum Zoe works at a knitwear factory

Wellbeing grants Providing practical support for a child’s wellbeing, funding items such as therapies, respite activities, mobility equipment and specialist clothing. Helping children like Ildiko 4yrs and her brother Dimitrije, 7yrs, whose mum Violet works at Debenhams.

Who can apply? You must be the parent or full time carer for a child aged 0-18yrs. You must currently work or have previously worked in the UK fashion and textile industry. Your child must have a need which cannot be met by state provision. To apply, call our friendly team in confidence on:
