 “Only 5% of women naturally possess the body type often portrayed by Americans in the media”  Women in the media are not representative of the American population today  “Average American woman is 5’4” and weighs 164 pounds and the average American model is 5’11” and weighs 117 pounds”  Women are negatively pressured by the media to use makeup and jewelry to glamorize themselves  The design of our tree is meant to look dead or decaying to represent how women are portrayed in the media OUR ARGUMENT
