HOW TO LINK ROOMS A Storm Palace Hosting tutorial on how to link the rooms of your palace

If you are reading this tutorial, that means you have figured out how to begin in palace and even how to start building, so kudos to you. Now we want to show you another step to the building process called linking. You are going to link your rooms. First, go to the top of your palace and click operator, then go ahead and click author

Once you click on authoring, you will notice the room changes and a series of boxes appear in your room. The arrows at the top of your page on the left and right are now surrounded by a box. Let’s try one. Double click the left hand arrow box

After you double click a box like this appears

At the top of the box is a section called dest. For destination click the down arrow on that box, then you will notice all the rooms of your palace. Decide where you want to link the room to and highlight and click on it. Then after selecting click save. Go back to operator and uncheck authoring. Your boxes will dissapear.

Now its time to test drive your work. Put your pointer at the arrow on the top left. If you linked properly you will see at the bottom of the page where the arrow points to.

Here is a better look at the bottom of your palace page. Notice what it says? If you linked correctly, that is where you want to go. Go ahead and click it, it won’t hurt to try

Congratulation! You should be in another room after click the arrow above. You linked a room. Now, while in the other room, repeat this whole process, only this time, use the right side to link back to where you came from. Find your room you just left in author and do everything as before. Once you uncheck authoring and go out of operator, put mouse on arrow and voila, you are linked back to the other room.
