Which State Am I? By: Mrs. Wilson

Which State Am I? I am located in the Mid-West region of the United States.

Which State Am I? I have a generally humid and moderate continental climate. Winters are cold and summers hot, but mild weather occurs, also.

Which State Am I? I entered the Union on Aug. 10, 1821, as the 24th state.

Which State Am I? I have 2 major cities, located on the east and west border, Kansas City and St. Louis.

Which State Am I? My state nickname is the “Show Me State”.

Which State Am I? Hunting, fishing, camping, and boating are popular recreation pastimes. Branson has many country-music theaters. The Ozark region has many scenic gorges, caverns, and large lakes, which offer plenty of opportunities for recreational activities. Missouri also maintains 79 state parks and historic sites. Among the most popular of these is Mark Twain State Park in southeast Missouri. The village of Florida, is the birthplace of the author Mark Twain. Missouri
