Hello! My name is Ashley Wiseman-Norment, though I usually just go by Mrs. Norment at school. I am excited to be returning to the Purl Team for my fourth year. My husband and I live in Round Rock with our 4 year old, Cora, and our two dogs, Buddy and Penelope. attended school at ACC, Temple college, and ultimately earned a B.S. degree in Applied Learning and Development: Youth and Community Studies with a minor in Special Education from the University of Texas at Austin. During my college career, I also studied psychology, and did undergraduate research in the area of education in correctional facilities for juveniles. I have taught PPCD (Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities) and have also worked as a 3rd through 5th grade summer teacher at a therapeutic living facility for children, as a Family Conservatorship Caseworker for Child Protective Services, as an Active Treatment Coordinator at the Lubbock State School, and as a cheerleading and gymnastics coach at a recreational facility.ACCTemple collegeUniversity of Texas at Austin I was born in Tyler, Texas, and have also lived in East and West Texas.
