Virginia Wildlife Conservation Association Our state parks are threatened to be closed, our hunting/fishing license fees are in danger of being raised, and threatened and endangered species are in danger.

If our hunting/fishing license fee increases… Due to the popularity and love of hunting and fishing in the state of Virginia, if the hunting and fishing license price gets raised, less people will buy them. This will result in less people hunting deer and fishing which will result to overpopulation of deer and the overpopulation of fish in our public lakes. Plus, what about the people who can barely afford a hunting license?

If our state parks close… Many nature-loving families will miss out on camping, hiking, and many other things the park allows. Plus, deer and other game species wont have a refuge like the parks so more will get killed, bringing our big game species population to an all-time low!

If our endangered species are put at risk… Two things that will happen if our endangered species go extinct. 1. We will never, ever see those animals again. 2. What about the kids that might have always dreamed of seeing a red wolf or canebrake rattlesnake?
