Municipal Menu for Climate Policy Targets from basic to innovative: –While refurbishing take all energy saving measures with a return on investment of 5 years or less –While refurbishing take all energy saving measures with a return on investment of 10 years or less –4 % energy efficiency on the total amount of energy used by all municipal buildings and installations All target levels are exceeding legislative obligations

How do we work towards the ministry Invitation from the ministry to make a proposal SenterNovem writes a proposal for a period of 2 years 4 times a year SenterNovem reports on progress At the end of the period there is an evaluation

Monitoring municipalities To obtain the subsidy municipalities have send in their implementation and project plan for 4 years Every year municipalities have to report on the progress At the end of the period the municipalities have to file a report on the entire period The ministry finalizes the subsidy on the bases of these reports and the advice that SenterNovem provides on them.
