2 BACKGROUND INFORMATION NAPE: Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists Membership: Consist of persons involved in the applications of geosciences and related engineering disciplines both in the oil and gas industry and the academia

3 BACKGROUND INFORMATION Main Objective: Advance the geosciences, especially as they relate to petroleum resources; to disseminate information relating to geosciences and the associated disciplines. Promote the technology of exploring for, exploiting, and producing Petroleum To foster the spirit of scientific research throughout its membership
