UNIVERSITY OF BANJA LUKA University of Banja Luka has been founded in 1975, and since 2008 after the Law on Amendments to the Law on Higher Education entered into force, the University has the status of legal entity. Today, the University of Banja Luka integrates 15 faculties, the Academy of Art and the Institute for genetical resources. The Steering Board is the University managerial body. The Senate is the highest academic body of the University. The Rector is managing the University.

UNIVERSITY SECRETARIAT Secretary General manages administrative services of the Secretariat, and he/she is responsible to the University Steering Board and to the Rector. SECRETARY GENERAL Secretary General manages administrative services of the Secretariat Participates in the preparations and work of sessions of the Senate, Steering Board, Rector’s Collegium and other bodies of the University Gives legal opinions and interpretations Organizes expert and consultant appointments with secretaries of the organizational units and managers of services and centers

OFFICE FOR GENERAL AND PERSONAL ISSUES Monitoring and applying rules and regulations from the University scope of work Initiating adoption of new and amendments of existing acts of the University Issues decisions, prepares contracts and other acts concerning general and personal issues

OFFICE FOR ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT FOR MANAGEMENT BODIES AND SENATE Preparing sessions of the Senate and Steering Board Issuing decisions, and other acts in the competence of the Steering Board, Senate and Councils Correspondence with organizational units with the objective of realization of decisions and conclusions of the Steering Board, Senate and Councils

SECRETARY OF FACULTY/ACADEMY OF ART Collaboration with Secretary General Managing the administrative work at the organizational unit level Preparing decisions of the organizational unit council Preparation and sending competition propositions on the basis of organizational unit council proposals Organization of enrollment, transfer and withdrawal of students Composing contracts and agreements at the faculty/Academy of Art level
