do you want to go swimming Water The most important resource. People can survive without food for several weeks, but without water we would die in less than one week. During summer time, do you want to go swimming or go to beach?

What on Earth do you Know about Water? Cover 80% of Earth’s surface. Only 1% of this water is fresh we can use. 97% - Saltwater 2% - Frozen in glaciers Use 168 gallons of water a day. Move in a never-ending cycle Water you drink = Water a dinosaur had drunken Be limited and threatened by pollution. 80 percent of Earth’s surface is covered with water. Only one percent of this water is fresh we can use. 97 percent is saltwater Two percent is water frozen in glaciers Water moves in a never-ending cycle; nature recycle it over and over again. Therefore, water you drink now = water a dinosaur have drunken You use an average of 168 gallons of water a day Earth’s fresh water supply is limited and threatened by pollution

12 THINGS YOU CAN DO TO SAVE WATER Check toilets, pipes, and faucets for leaks. Don't use the toilet as a trash can. Put a plastic bottle in the toilet tank so that your toilet uses less water. Take shorter showers. Help a grown-up install water-saving showerheads in your home. Take baths instead of showers. Turn off the water while brushing your teeth. Use automatic dishwashers only when you have a full load. Use the washing machine only when you have a full load. Turn off the water while cleaning vegetables. Keep drinking water in the refrigerator. If washing dishes by hand, don't leave the water running.
