What is Sushi? Most well known Japanese dish in overseas One of the most popular dishes among the Japanese themselves. Any dish that made with vinegar rice. –Sushi does not equal to raw fish. –Raw fish dishes are called “SASHIMI”. –“Su” means vinegar and “Shi” means rice (comes from ”meshi”)

Tips for Eating Sushi Don’t put too much soy sauce into the small plate. Don't dip a whole sushi piece into the soy sauce. Try to eat pieces of pickled ginger between different kinds of sushi When you eat rolled sushi, eat the whole piece in your mouth if you can.
