 1970-the floppy disk invented by Alan Shugart.  1972-pong first videogame invented by Nolan Bushnell.  1979-cell phones invented by Martin Cooper.

 02/01/ The US and South Vietnam invaded Laos.  02/04/ A new stock market index called the NASDAQ was introduced.  08/14/ Andrei Solzhenitsyn was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature.  10/01/ Grand opening of Walt Disney World took place.  11/14/ The Soviet Union and NASA

 Songs-1971 Stairway to heaven by led zepplin,1973 Hotel California by the eagles.  Genres-Disco, funk, smooth jazz, jazz fusion and soul.  Musicians-Eagles, Elton john, the rolling stone, Aerosmith, Kiss and queen. 

 Games Space invaders, 1979 Asteroids.  for fun- Watch movies, dance.  Popular actors- Clint eastwood, Robert De Niro and Morgan Freeman.  Movies the godfather, 1975 Jaws, 1978 superman.

 1970 floppy disk introduced.  1971 VCRs introduced.  1972 M*A*S*H T.V. show premiers.  1973 U.S. pulls out Vietnam.

 Labor leader Victor Gotbaum dies; helped by NYC in the 1970s crisis.  Documentary focuses on woman's liberation.

What I like from the 70s is all the new introductions of new things like the vcr, pocket calculator, the movie jaws, star wars. I also liked how people were not afraid of trying new ideas.
