DEVELOPMENT OF WOMAN SELF – HELP GROUP IN THE AREA OF MULTUFUNCTIONAL FARMING (GROW) Presentation and discussion of results of analysis O1-A3, A4: SC – PMT meeting - 9th - 10th March 2015, Confcooperative Viale Grigoletti, 72/e, Pordenone, Italy Review of methodologies for identification of motivation and competences of individual trainee for participating in self - help group – A3 A3A3 Review of methodologies for analysis of competences of trainees for multifunctional farming – A4 A4A4 PP1 – Šolski center Nova Gorica, Slovenia Prepared by: Rosana Pahor Project manager, expert for evaluation of informal knowledge

WOMAN SELF – HELP GROUP IN THE AREA OF MULTUFUNCTIONAL FARMING Two possible approaches: 1. Focus on „What competences does the member of the group needs“ – define new program - MULTIFUNCTIONAL FARMING OPERATOR, teach the necessary skills … 2. Focus on the group – find out the competences they alreday have and find out, what they can offer each other and how they can organise themselves as a group – mentoring and coaching the group, find out the goal of the group and help them to reach the goal

O1 – A3 Assesment of appropriate methodology for identification of motivation and competences of individual treinee for participating in self-help group

PROPOSED METHODOLOGY (the same for A3 and A4) 1.Personal biography (Prepared in advance by potential candidates– after that the portfolio can be prepared for each candidate) 2.Interview – (Prepared questions and random ones, connected to the biography, group work and goals for the future) 3.Situation plan – (Telling the candidates certain situation and they should answer what they would do in such a case - by this we could be really specific for our topic). (Each participant can prepare her own portfolio.)

Working plan At the beginning we will work with candidates individualy (firs meeting – interview, on the interview they will come with biography). On the basis of this interview the candidates will be choosen (with just one questionnare or more). After that we will work in a group with the focus on the group as a whole.

Working plan They will share their knowledge and expectations … with the goal “to achieve something as the group” (that they can not achieve themselves as an individuals). Through this process, we will come up with the goal they want to achieve and contents that group still needs (knowledge, workshoops …) to be able to achieve the goal. Maybe we can chose from a set of training the ones that they needed.

O1 – A3 Assesment of appropriate methodology for identification of motivation and competences of individual trenee for participating in self-help group ESF project: Development of literacy and the identification and validation of non-formal education from 2011 to 2014 ( One part of the project was also the project I have mentioned before IDENTIFICATION AND EVALUATION OF NON FORMAL KNOWLEDGE – 2015 ) Activity: Development of literacy RURAL AREAS AS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF BASIC SKILLS AND KEY COMPETENCES (MOVIE) – 2o minutes or 10 minutes … IF THE IDEA COMES OUT OF THE GROUP, THEY ARE PREPARED TO LEARN …

O1 – A4 Identification of methodology for analysis of competences of trainees for multifunctional farming

O1 – A4 - Identification of methodology for analysis of competences of trainees for multifunctional farming Competences for multifunctional farming For recognition of the competences of trainees for multifunctional farming we should now: -all the existing competences explored in O1 – A2 -the methodology for investigation can be the same as in O1 – A3.

The proposal with focus on the target group -We should recognise all the kompetences that can be usefull (formal, non-formal, informal). -We can prepare for each cantidate individual map – portfolijo. -After that we can work on group goals – with menthoring and coaching the group
